Hi there! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S) with ten years of experience in providing mental counseling to trauma impacted folks and marginalized communities. I am dedicated to giving a space for people to feel safe, heard, and restored through use of trauma informed and culturally responsive therapy for all people. Specializing in trauma related disorders, depression, and anxiety I use my certifications in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (in training), Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Trauma model to assist clients in healing. I am a graduate of the University of Louisville, obtaining an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Following undergraduate school, I attended the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, obtaining a graduate degree in Clinical Counseling with a concentration in trauma. I have a focus in providing culturally responsive and trauma informed therapy to individuals and families. Working for seven years as a Family Preservation Therapist and Treatment Director, six years managing a Private Practice, and two years as a Treatment Director for Foster Care and Reunification, I’m passionate in serving people impacted by trauma, race related stressors, and LGBTQIA+ related challenges. Ages served are adolescents and adults.
